I love our annual trek to Palm Springs. People think we're crazy for going in the summer, but after all this rain and cold, we can't get enough heat! Average temps were 112, even when the weather was overcast. We spent at least 3-4 hours every day in the pool.
We also went to the Indio street fair (at night of course) which is one of our favorites.
