Yeah! It's done! Isn't it gorgeous? I love how the colors actually seemed to go together in the end. It's small but I think the right size for a new baby. I ended up making the ruffle more simple than I had originally planned, but I think it's just right for this blanket, too fancy would have seemed odd.
The only thing I'm not happy with is the way the seams in the back seem to stand out. I'm going to wash and iron it to see if they can settle down a bit. I only picked up the inner loop on each stitch so not sure how else you would have combined the blocks w/out a seam.
Now to wait for the baby to arrive!
